What I would add is Spike’s treatment during the Diamond Dogs episode, but especially at the end. She has multiple the times the gems she wanted, and she denies Spike a single gem, after he sacrificed the one she ever so gratuitously, rushing on head first to save her. Element of generosity, my plot!
