The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

Oh yeah, of course. Whenever a blood drive is being done I do it if I can knowing that little devil of a butterfly is going to be draining my blood. I guess I’m only creeped out of the butterfly needles is because I’m afraid that one day I’m just going to be spewing more blood than I am from the needle and just pass out. Idk, something like that.

Consider giving blood. I know, it’s the exact opposite of what you might think you’d want to do, but you’re (a) choosing the time and place to get stuck, and (b) you know you’re doing it to selflessly help someone out. After the first time or two, you might find that you’re substantially less afraid of needles.

(Obviously this solution may not be right for everyone, IANAshrink, etc, etc.)
