Bare in mind, this was well that event.
Yeah, I saw that. Problem is, Octamum’s condition - while worthy of sympathy - does not excuse her extremely creepy actions toward Vinyl, and, as we see here, she isn’t taking it any easier. She’s literally got Vinyl tied up and is force-feeding her. That’s creepy.
Vinyl did try to tell her off once. Octamum explained that she can’t have foals due to polycystic ovarian syndrome, so it’s the closest she can get to a new foal. Vinyl then accepted it and asked her to take it a bit easier.

Also, marmite is pretty good when spread thinly on bread.
I think it might be jokes.
If Vinyl was OK with this it would be a little bit different, But she clearly was begging “Help!”
I can make effort to empathize with those who might actually do this sort of thing.
Eating a spoonful would be fatal, though.
