Sound viewpoint indeed, and something most farriers have to be pretty damn careful with when putting new shoes on a horse ^^
Oh, okay then. Still I would not want to tickle a horse with the “I can kick your ribs to dust” thing they have going on.
Quite possible, actually. Many horses are quite sensitive on the soft part in the middle of the hoof, the so-called frog. It’s not unheard of for horses to react to being touched there as if it actually tickles.
