Panel two reads like a non-native speaker wrote it. The dialogue doesn’t flow between Pinkie’s question and Twilight’s answer. The rest is basically an Achewood strip. It isn’t bad, but everybody seems pretty out-of-character.
Is that “reading strangely” an obstructive thing to you? Is it at all enjoyable or intriguing? Is there anything in particular that you think would make it more natural?
(These are sincere questions, not attempts to invalidate your comment! My goal is not to create an incomprehensible comic, so if there’s something about the writing that makes it unapproachable I’d like to know about it.)
I knew that, I just wasn’t sure if the joke was actually being made. This comic reads really strangely to me.
The Catholics are pretty much the opposite of the Orthodox Church. So yes.
