They sure look nice, though. Hell, if they ever did a video game of FIM, I mean like a proper one released to an actual console (Not a shitty browser game), this is what I would expect it to look like.

Yeah, his models are great, but they’re not set up for animation. He starts with a sphere, so there are two points where a lot of polygons join, and they’re not even rigged; I’m pretty sure all the poses are done from scratch.
I completely agree with this. It’s a shame there has been nothing that is both public and good to finally mitigate their usage.
Can’t eyes be separate textures or something? Like how MMD models work?
Wait, the eyes are just textures?
That poses a slight problem if you’re animating.
