I’m not gonna say anything because I don’t want to take sides in this argument.

If you come to think of it - you’re right, I’m sorry. This guy should at least think. Brain doesn’t hurt. Using it neither.
But on the other hand, right now I am the only holder of polish-subtitled version of every pony episode so far, and I am about to burn many copies just to make sure it doesn’t fail. They killed the polish fandom totally, you can’t get these anywhere, and they destroy the work of so much people it’s really bad thing. That’s what I meant.
Yeah, I get tired of people calling those of us who don’t see Hasbro as a “major evil” that. If it wasn’t for Hasbro we’d have no pony in the first place.
@Twinhead-B
That’s true, plus remember the Brony Documentory? Because so many people bootlegged that movie, sadly they could barely afford to fund the DVD release’s extras. So that kinda thing messes up the merchandise.
~oh. Yeah that does make sense.
Tagged since his name’s on the image.
Also because he’s the OP.
Just because it’s posted by him doesn’t mean he’s picking a side or making a major statement.
Then again, dunno if we always tag the other EqD mods on their posts if they end up screenshot’d here.
Even if he was only charging for material cost and shipping, it still would be cutting into Hasbro’s consumer base.
Why would anyone buy a product from Hasbro (who is trying to profit from it) when they can buy a similar (if not identical) product from someone else for nearly half the price?
This is a good lesson for Bronies in the future:
If you want to make MLP merchandise or a fan-made project (such as a game, video, etc.), get permission from Hasbro first. It never hurts to ask, Double Rainboom is a great example of that.
Oh wait, it’s because we’re all brainwashed Hasdrones!

You realize now that you said it, somebody is probably going to draw that now. ;)
The problem is these “3D drawings” compete directly with official products; not so much the brushables as the molded figures sold at Hot Topic (and similar).
A commissioned drawing of Derpy fighting off Megatron with a giant muffin hammer isn’t something biting into Hasbro’s market.
It really helps that it’s such a clear cut case.
even more so than that episode archive that got taken down back when S2 was still airing (owner sure made one hell of a stink about it though…)
It probably would’ve been ok if he wasn’t profiting off of ’em.
Smooth moves, HasNObro…
Why? Because they shut down a company that was profiting off of a copyright they did not have the rights or license to?
Something that is 100% within Hasbro’s right as a company to do?
Same.
