God, how I DESPISED that Eggmanland level.
I was talking purely aesthetically.
Even though you had to go through not only two bosses, but also the hardest level in the modern era of Sonic (hardest Sonic level of all time goes to Game Gear Sonic 2’s Scrambled Egg Zone) in order to get to him?

I get that but I don’t feel the same accomplishment if I have to get the emeralds instead of having them be optional.

Thanks for reminding me how much I hate final bosses in Sonic games that require the chaos emeralds. As for burning Twilight I don’t really care due to the episode when she evolved for a few seconds.
You seem to not notice Dark Gaia and Burning Twilight in the background there. Either one could destroy and would destroy all life on the planet.
