Ain’t is actually in the dictionary and has been for quite a few years, so it is a word
and no one ever said ‘ye’ . “YE” comes from the old lettering system in witch they used a symbol to represent the letters th together and when the first printing press came and they only having the english alphabet they used the letter closest to that sybol ‘Y’
