New fanfic idea: Scootaloo takes part in a crazy scientist pony’s experiment, and when it all blows up, he becomes convinced that he has travelled back in time.  
The rest of the story/episode is one big BTTF reference, like the collecting for the town hall that Derpy ruined.  
After getting help from her friends, Scootaloo successfully “returns” home after blowing herself up a second time.

“Wow, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle! You look so strange as an older pony!”  
“Uh, we’re exactly the same age?”  
“Though I’m scared now knowing that you still won’t have your cutie mark at this age…”
