If EQG is never referenced within the main show, there’s no reason to believe that it’s within the same canon.
It’s not about “omg i dun like therefor not canun!!!”. Not at all.
@Background Pony #FA0B
Yes, because how DARE people not like something! If they don’t like something, obviously they’re just entitled and butthurt because it wasn’t exactly what they wanted! Truly, there are absolutely no flaws with EQG and it is 100% objectively perfect!!!!

Okay that was pretty good.
“It’s not what I wanted it to be, therefor it’s not valid! BAAAAWWWWWWW!!”
Cry about it some more.
Canon and continuity are not the same.
The comics are canon since they are authentic pony. That doesn’t mean that they are in continuity with the show. Look at the toys.
Canon until the show indicates otherwise.
Is your Dynamite Grizzly going to eat your GargantuanBass?
Well now IDK about the comic being canon. IMO, the comic is its own separate universe, kinda liek how the Sonic comics by Archie worked.
I guess I phrased it wrong, then.
They showed up anyway. D:
*canon
Um… yeah, about that….
Yeah, if the comic is canon, so is the movie. Not that it matters if it is or not, though. Everyone simply does the “I don’t like it therefor it’s not canon” crap.
At least we can theoretically count it out of cannon, and so , we can quickly leave it out of our lives for good.
It’s a brony using an image with the word “ponyfag” in it and thinks he’s the voice of an entire fandom. What do you think?
>Spaghetti
Surely you have enough self-respect to not use /mlp/ lingo.
Hasbro picked the perfect time to release it.
It was neither the movie the fans wanted, nor the movie that MLP deserved. And I will leave it at that before one of the new background ponies shows up with a spaghetti launcher of rage.
