Sounds like you need some sleep, have a good night then. However, have to say, what’s unfunny to you, might be hilarious to another, humor is suggestive after all. and the nose bleed effect has been a stable of Japanese humor. Call it a cultural thing, leave at that. At not times I never really got all the humor in the Three Stooges, but others think it is the genius of slap-stick comedy. I take it with a grain of salt. Not really my cup of tea but I understand it may be a generation/cultural thing.

I get what you mean by the nose bleed gag is tiresome in your perception, doesn’t mean it all that bad. Just that it is overused like the vein popping effect (which is a good simple sign of frustration).

I actually thought his nose was bleeding because she’s beaten him into doing it, since he’d probably tell her to sod off before ever consenting to that.

Why this trope is cancer:
  1. It’s not based in reality—and the extent to which it is based in reality—it’s more of a folk-science, not real science;

  2. It’s usually way over the top, obnoxious, and thus unfunny;

  3. When something actually sexy is involved, it goes and completely ruins it just by being there. Someone having a nosebleed right next to something hot ruins the whole thing—not that I have a particular dislike of blood, but it certainly isn’t a turn-on.

    I think this trope exists because (and this is just speculation irrelevant to my point)
  4. Again, it’s a folk belief that’s apparently prevalent in Japan, and

  5. It’s a easy PG way of showing someone getting turned on. This is stupid because a) Western animation has gotten along just fine without this trope and using more creative techniques to show characters getting turned on (e.g. full)
    and b) —here’s the controversial bit—we shouldn’t need a PG way of showing characters getting turned on in the first place.

    NOW LET ME SLEEP GOD JESUS FUCK.

Don’t know myself, it’s an old gag and only few characters can pull it off for comedic effect. And like all things, done too much, it gets old. Although having a guy losing too much blood from a nosebleed that he requires a transfusion is kinda funny.

Artwork here though and the current few uploaded: feels like a trace and recolor of the hair to represent the Sonic/MLP franchise. Using Sasuke of Naruto (emo, brooding look) as a base, and coloring the hair to match Sonic, Shadow, or knuckles. Very uninspiring. Even humanized Mordecai and Rigby comes off more original.
