You are right my friend, I think it’s still found here on this website, but defintly on DevianARt, if you go onto DevianArt, and type in “My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, Parasol” it may appear, but you may have to try “Showers” but I have seen that pic before, anyway, Lunamac, I’m not sure about, but I still belief in Derpydrops, but, I think Rainbowshine has her own team in Ace Combat, by a guy on FimFiction, I watch him, SonicTheHedgehogPLZ or something like that, but he also has Cloud Kicker and Lightning Bolt as main characters, along with Sprinkle Medley, but some fanfics I read, I see Cloud Kicker is the main character, and the Lunaverse Series, some fillies who get no attention appears on it (Tootsie Flute, Firelock, Harpica (Bee Bop) and I guess you could say Alula, but, since the whole “Alicorn” and “Princeess Erroria” thing, she has being popular, but still, I rarely see fanart of her normal Pegasus self, but I watch some of the popular ponies, but only Derpy, gets most pics on this website, as the main 6, CMC, The Princess’s, Shining Armour, Flash Sentry, Discord, etc, etc, also, the party ponies (Lemony Gem (I guess), Drizzle, Diamond Mint) need more attention, and most of these pics are screencaps of the episodes, like Drizzle for example, also, Flower Spring, I see no fanart of her at all, people class her as Romana but I mainly see photo’s of Minuette (Colgate), it’s kind of bad if you ask me ;)

I’m surprised Beauty Brass has really only had minor fandom success. I mean, she has a brass instrument coiled around her body, with no reasonable means of escape. That’s strange enough to get noticed methinks.

Lunamac might get a revival. You know, issue #9 and #10.  
Nowadays, old shippings like Derpydrops or Lunamac are almost forgotten.

I want to do something with Junebug, but I don’t know what. I have this rough idea of Spike helping her out with her flowers as a form of “punishment” for asking for her flowers, only to find that’s she’s a blank flank. I don’t think we ever saw her cutie mark in show, did we?
 
I was thinking of adding some sort of onesided romance between Spike and Junebug, but I don’t know if that’s going a bit far.

You can say the same about Merry May or Lightning Bolt. No one cares about them, though they’ve appeared since the very first episode.

Junbebug has a fair share. Animations and at least three Ask blogs, one of them decently arted.
 
It is unfair to compare just any BG pony to the “background six” who are their own little phenomena.

Isn’t there a fic where Parasol is Fluttershy’s sister, who never realized she was still alive after she left Cloudsdale or something like that? And of course she shows up a lot in the latter part of Hoofstuck as The Voice Of Capitalism, to the point of being a playable character in that walkaround thing.

It all depends on how a pony is presented in the show. Are they shown doing something strange/funny/interesting? Then they are more likely to be taken notice of. Long before the scene with her sitting on the bench, Lyra had already been animated a few times doing that happy jumping that she does. Also, the more distinct the pony, the better. Bon Bon has a distinctive two-tone mane, for example.

For a fandom that says it excels on creativity, they sure don’t come up with anything really new or use other BG ponies for…. anything.

You can’t expect every character to get uber popular for no reason.
