Hopefully in season 6. But it seems we’re getting at least 3 Rarity episodes this season.
Also, we’re getting into the thick of season five and I still don’t have my Rarity/Rainbow Dash episode. >_<
Seriously! I want to see an episode where, Rarity finds out that Dash is secretly into something girly and they bond over it! Then, the rest of the Mane Six finding out and Dash is completely mortified, believing her friends will think she’s uncool, but Rarity and the others reassure her that everything is A-okay!
Looks to me like Rainbow is fingering Rarity in there.
It just shows how much freedom the fandom has over the folks working for a corporate entity. Despite the occasional crackdowns.
CONFOUND THESE PONIES!! WHY MUST THEY BE SO RICH WITH STORYTELLING POSSIBILITIES?!?!?!
Rarity might also have some inner “Applejack” tendencies when it comes to behavior.
And the idea of Applejack having a small lingering desire to be fancy is just too heart attack inducing to not want.
YES! This is why they need a bonding episode, they do have a surprising amount of things in common with each other!
Personally, I’d especially love if they did an episode that focused on the two of them discovering some hidden side to their personalities. Maybe RD has some girlish habits, but keeps them secret to maintain her image, or Rarity might be into martial arts, even though it isn’t very ladylike (well, the latter is doubtful, but it would explain why Rarity seems to be such a good fighter)?
Yet, they show some similarities, despite the contrast in interests. Competitive, show-off, and the temper. Rainbow Dash can be a little over dramatic herself at times.
Maybe this will be remedied in season four…
