Yeah, but Twilight’s wasn’t bad either. Canterlot Snob? She’s been in Ponyville for a good while now. I’d think ponies would know about her. (And Celestia…I believe she would just giggle at her article and move on.)Twilight probably didn’t like it though, since she puts Celestia on a huge pedestal.

Pfft, as if. Nah, this was just about torturing the CMC to make them see the error of their ways….Kind of like Mysterious Mare-Do Well.
 
(Except Pinkie, Fluttershy, Rarity didn’t get on the total hate.  
Rarity confronted her sister and explained what was wrong.  
Angel didn’t let the CMC talk to Fluttershy.  
And Pinkie…we didn’t see her because we all know she wouldn’t hate the CMC. Heck, I believe they sat down and had a few laughs together.)

This was where the episode could have been written better. Nopony was getting butthurt until the stories were about them, and they proceeded to completely overreact to the CMC, and the episodes acts like they were right to. The hypocrisy really needed to be acknowledged more.
