Yeah…no.

Kentucky sided with the North. But they were a Southern state. They held tactical advantage for the union army as Kentucky owns the majority of the Ohio River.

Saying Kentucky was neutral is wrong.

But you want to talk about cowardly?

How about this?

Kentucky lost more men during the War of 1812 than any other state.

Kentucky has always been strategically important to the US. We’re one of the most defendable states with hundreds of miles of US controlled land in any direction.

But calling us cowardly for being stuck between the Union and the dissenting South? You’re absolutely wrong. Many Kentucky men went to die for both the Union and the Confederacy. But the State was a Union state.

Right. Because nothing is more cowardly than being caught in the middle of two factions, having families split apart, and being the site of some of the most bloody battles ever on American soil.

The personification of the state of Kentucky is a rabbit?…Makes sense. Being neutral during a Civil War. Only a rabbit is that cowardly.
