Oh, and Kothophed and Griselbrand? Yeah, she killed them. Especially notable in Grissy’s case, since, when that sort of demon is killed, the energies reform themselves into more demons. Except this time, because Lili used the Chain Veil to augment the kill spell such that he’s perma-dead now and forever.
Basically, Miss Vess is trying to renege on a soul contract by murdalizing everyone to whom she’s indebted. Two down, two to go.
Also, Liliana hates angels, so it’d be interesting to see her reaction to a white, winged pony with a sunbutt…
Thanks for the detailed explination :)
Liliana is a planeswalker (a powerful mage capable of traveling between universes) who sold her soul to four demons to gain even greater power. One day one of the demons asked her to find an artifact called the “Chain Veil,” which gives great magical power to whoever wears it. Liliana took the Veil for herself, and has so far used it to destroy two of the four demons that own her soul.
But what she doesn’t realize is that the Chain Veil is slowly corrupting her, making her even more ruthless than she was before, which is impressive when you consider that she was already a very nasty person. It’s like the Alicorn Amulet, except in this case the bearer was already evil to begin with.
Sounds a little like Chrysalis, imo. I’ve even pictured her having necromancy like powers, if the show was to delve into darker topics.
No
“Liliana Vess is a human planeswalker and master of necromancy, using black mana to reanimate the dead, corrupt the living, and unlock power from death. She is charismatic, witty, and attractive, but profoundly egocentric. Though she appears to be in her 20s, she is actually over a century old. After the Mending, she made four deals with demons, two of whom being Kothophed and Griselbrand, to secure her youth and power.”
