I don’t understand why so many artists wipe the faces off Monster High/Ever After High/ EQG dolls just to make a new worse looking face.

I fully understand creative and artistic liberty, but I have seen very few ‘realistic’ or just fancy faces for any of those dolls look good, and I like the idea of customizing.

Keep the realism to BJDs and away from more stylized cartoony dolls, it just looks off and the factory paint always looks better.
