Oh fuck yes there easy as shit to buy(I saw on eBay you can get a lq9 for $2k)the lq9 is the ballsey verson of that moter with flat top positions and a 10:1 cr and there SUPER easy to make power with I saw on tv once they built up an lq4 all they did was a cam swap 1.7 RR and a fast 92 mm intake and TB and BOOM 515 hp freaking crazy man I LOVE THESE engins :D
I’m a ford mechanic, and though ive worked on mostly Ford trucks, I have worked on a few Chevrolet and GMC pickups. GM LS engines are great power plants and even though I am a ford guy, LS motors are probably the best powerplants I’ve worked on.
I’m a GM guy but ill say this the F series is a DAMN good truck
