…someone’s gonna need to help me with Part 8, assuming anyone cares enough. All I got so far is a couple trees, a guy with four balls, and a creepy old fat guy.
To count here is a list of things that could use The Hand better than Okuyasu: an orangutan, an infant, a falcon, a pair of rats, a dead house cat, and a colony of plankton. Granted, I haven’t finished parts 5, 7, or 8 so there is probably more than that.

I always thought Lyra should have “The Hand”. At least she’d use it better than Okuyasu.
