It’s a shiny Eevee. A rare alternate color variation (though I thought I’d seen some slightly different designs in some, too).

So what Eeveelution is this?

Technically Sylveon evolves from love. It originally evolves when it has high affection rate while having a fairy type move. Affection rate is what you get when you play Pokemon Amie (That Pokemon petting thing you see online). Now since Pokemon Amie is no longer a thing they just turn it back to friendship which has been a thing since Gen 2 (actually Pokemon Yellow but let’s go with that). Both Umbreon and Espeon evolves from friendship depending on whether it’s day or night. The difference with friendship is as long as you spend time with Pokemon it’ll go up like walking with them or leveling up instead of petting them.

I guess all 3 Eeveelutions evolve from friendship but most fans like to say Sylveon does from love to distinguish it from Umbreon and Espeon, because of its pink colors, and the latter are the first to evolve like that way before Sylveon existed. I kind of do that myself, since it kind of makes sense.

I’m not very knowledgeable on Pokémon lore outside the 1st gen (and even that is a murky), but did you mean Sylveon?

Since friendship is such a big thing in this world, and since these fillies usually go about their activities at day, it’ll probably become Espeon.

And since this is a shiny, I hope they like neon green.

So are we not going to talk about how this Eevee is unsure what kind of Eeveelution she wants to be, so the CMCs are here to help her with her talents to evolve?
