Eh, not many enter puberty before entering their juvenile age, but whatever. :3
Spike consider a pre-teen by the writers, not a teenager. It’s kinda makes sense considering he sometimes don’t act a teenager (depending on the writer I guess).

Before the 20th century and depending on the region of either the New and Old World, teenagers would bang and marry. Tutankhamon had kids and was 19 when he died.
I like EmberSpike but I can’t ignore that some people in the fandom are hypocrites. If this were Sparity, some people are gonna whine about being pedophilia, ignoring the fact that Spike has been shipped with other characters who is older than him.
