Lol, you moron.

Ditzy was the original name that people used regularly before Derpy became semi-official.
It fell out of favor after The Last Roundup when the name Derpy came to symbolize solidarity with those who did not like the change.

Because of morons like you who think that people who are not calling her Derpy are suddenly “with us or against us”.

Its the nickname people give her when they find Derpy offensive.

Because a word that is unquestionably used to refer to being uncoordinated, clumsy and airheaded is much better than one that is used vaguely to mean someone who makes a mistake or forgets something, and has become less and less offensive and more and more endearing because of its association with her.
