Promotional image I made for the BMC convention using sacred geometry.
Sunset Shimmer plays the part of the God Sun, Quetzalcoatl, appearing on the sea, over time and space, adorning herself with endemic flowers and endagered flora from México, outfit is Purepecha inspired and machinery is cyberpunk/steampunk inspired.
The mandala on her back is supposed to be a “halo” of some sorts showing divinity, but I didn’t wanted to make just light or a circle of light.

That’s not actually a trace dude. The legs and feet specially were used as a reference and mimicked as best as I could. What was traced however was the flowers
