Sorry, after a seeing the “opposites attract” formula again and again in cinema, one becomes a little jaded. “Sure, they have chemistry. But either one is going to give in the other’s lifestyle or it’s not going to last.”

The thing about “opposites attract” while true works sometimes in real life and movies, but it is not the same as lasting relationship. The “bad boy, good girl” starts off interesting but somewhere down the line the couple either conform to one or the other’s lifestyle or becomes a rather toxic relationship in the long run.
 
Hence, why the “opposite attract” may be a fun rollercoaster ride at first but eventually you want to get off soon before you get sick of it.
