that, and it’s mostly composed of just a middletone value and highlights, there’s no shadow or core shadow, all of this is a confusing mish mash of undefined forms and careless lighting techs

the artist can render, but needs to work on lighting and color relationships a bit more. That graphic apple also seems out of place considering how painterly everything else is.

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

At first glance i thought it was an enormous anatomywrecking Applejack… whan i realized it’s actually 2 seperate ponies…
 
Ok overall but pairing 2 similar coloured ponies so close to each other with shading like that just make them melt into one big blob.
