Thank you for that helpful information. In ten years of internet history under this handle, you are the only person who has ever pointed out my name is almost “Cancer”. I have taken your advisement under consideration and, on reflection, have decided to keep using the name I have grown attached to.
Also, you are not really the first person to point this out (or the tenth, or probably not even the hundredth)

Why does this matter? I am also favoring my uploads not for the rating, but because I like it.
If we didn’t think people should be allowed to vote/favourite their own images then we’d have prevented them from doing so in code, there’s nothing wrong with favouriting or voting on your own uploads and nothing artificial about the result on the score. Artificially inflating the score would be registering and using sockpuppet accounts to cast multiple votes on the same image.
