that shit’s only like half tobacco dude. it could easily be one of the thousand chemicals they mix into it. also, tobacco can be deadly toxic if swallowed, so I’m not surprised that people chewing on it might have some long term ramifications. I never said that tobacco wasn’t bad for you; I just said that from what I’ve seen the “evidence” supporting it causing cancer is correlative at best, and if you actually know how science works correlative evidence is about as concrete of evidence as someone seeing a face in their toast and saying it must be god’s doing.

I still haven’t seen the evidence that supports that it’s the tobacco itself that causes cancer, hell it could just be the fact that you’re inhaling smoke that causes it.

Funnily enough, it is a combination ob both. The filter is part of the reason your fingers and teeth become yellow

my mom theorizes that the plastic filters are what causes cancer, not the tobacco itself (you know, because burning or melting plastic gives off carcinogens) that or maybe one of the chemicals inside the cigarette that isn’t built into the tobacco.
