Happy Halloween fellas!
For once I’m actually not late with a Halloween image c:
Got inspired by the original Castlevania box art and decided to throw a scene together, reminiscent of the G4 pilot.
Had a lot of fun building a castle from scratch and figuring out how to form a whip-like purple magic aura in Garrysmod (overlaid blue and red TF2 dispenser heal beams, if you are curious) and with the halo tool and a few more particle effects I didn’t even have to edit it after the fact. Pretty satisfied with how the whole magic thing ended up looking, considering it’s all done ingame.
The magic effect is particularly nice, I’ll have to give that technique a shot myself
