I don’t think that the rifle is meant to be used by ponies, its tagged bygone civilization. For the rest of it, id say a general lack of knowledge about firearms combined with video game gun logic, video games portray bolt action and revolver type weapons to be stronger than magazine weapons which generally gives people the wrong impression, not joking about that talked to some of my gamer friends and they genuinely think that way.

That rifle is definitely NOT designed for hands.

I guess a human appeared one and saved a lot sapients with their anti-material rifle by killing a fraking dragon.

I’ve been working with the assumption it’s that little lever on top, for traditional hoof triggers would likely remove a hoof when fired.

The lack of a floating barrel concerns me, as does the apparent inability to disassemble it. That said, those fuckers look like a 30 mm bullets.
