I don’t object to the the ship either.
But… this is a bit AU (or has fairly precise timing) or at least not a great outcome for Sprout’s magic development. He was the one who grew at least one of the runaway glimmerberries. And I am fairly sure that was the episode Earth Pony magic got first expored in. So he doesn’t lack for power, but rather control. Izzy discovered another way to make him lose control. Not really a step forward step? More of a lateral move? I guess this could have happened in the brief window between the first 45 minute special and the second episode?
