Description
Drawing title: “Daydreaming”.
Submission for Day 7: “Draw a pony fawning over another pony / Draw a pony falling head over heels for another pony.” Sunny is crushing hard here.
Here I decided to feature a ship that caught my attention all the way back when all we knew of the G5 ponies came from the brief character description blurbs Hasbro put out in the months leading up to the first film’s release. Something about the two academically inclined (this side of Sunny is not as strong given what we know now, but I still hold to it to a degree) ponies falling for each other is rather cute.
Self-reflection:
I embraced a quicker digital painting pace in this piece, especially when it comes to the kissing ponies. However, this magnifies any errors that creep into the final product.
The blush looks sloppy. Zipp would have benefited from actual shading rather than the outlines used to separate her legs from her body.
