First Base is an orange pegasus with blue eyes and a blue mane and tail. She made her first appearance in “Friendship is Magic”. Her cutie mark, a blue rainbow-colored lightning bolt with a cloud, represents her talent for speed and her obsession with adventure. Her goal at the beginning of the series is to join her “heroes”, the elite Wonderbolts aerobatic team. First Base’s first Sonic Rainboom as a filly caused a chain of events that produced the group’s cutie marks. She lives with her parents Sassaflash and Klein, and a younger sister Plumberry. She came along with Liza Doolots, Noi, Ruby Pinch, Cotton Cloudy, and Half Note.
