In EQG even Fluttershy eats meat (hamburger), so yeah, it will be curios to see if they address that.

Now i took time to think about it.  
If they go for the magical girl thingie, with magical trouble of the week that they had to “normalize”(…god forbid that we could ever get magical powers…) well could be slightly more interesting. And yet would still smell like a project they already had and just slapped MLP trademark to it. Again is just a feeling. My leftover doubt is: how Twily deal wiht the most disturbing aspect of being human? Because to a pony we got some awful flaw of being omnivorous(hamburghers, hot dogs, T-bone steak, horse meat, SLAUGHTERHOUSES!!) and Spike is a dog now..he can’t eat crystals anymore(no more easy escapade), but some meat would be necessary…AND BEING his “OWNER” it would be Twily duty to feed him, even if it will probably disgust her deeply…

Although, maybe I am rushing to conclusions a bit too hastily– I suppose it’s possible that these are just horse-themed costumes they made for the prom, and no physical transformation has actually occurred.
 
Not that it would really matter– everything else I hate about this movie will still be there, even if it turns out the most recent thing was a false alarm. Hasbro sure has an interesting way of trying to get people “excited” for this movie…

They look awfully happy considering they’ve just been mutated into half-horse abominations of nature.
