Fighting is Magic was pulled because it copied the design of the characters directly from the show, this game clearly does not.
The only real issue is the names.
Well, Blue Dragon did the whole front row back row thing before this game was even thought of.
See? Not as bad as a C&D but it’s just as similar to it. Not having faith in fangames being finished makes the eventual cancellation via by disinterest, force, etc. more palatable.

I have lost faith in fan games since Fighting is Magic’s cancellation.
One of the few times I can use that gif and actually mean it.
After looking at the dA page, never mind.
And about the story, apparently it’s mostly an adaptation of the pilot episodes, so the only major villain is NMM.
Also, why is Applejack wearing a bow ala Applebloom?
Just at the starting levels.
Why exactly this game won’t et a c&D ? Because it’s almost unknown ? (and looks actually quite nice)
