Back on Topic:  
It would be pretty awesome if they did do a crossover of some sort. The fact they have portals to alternate realities pretty much seals it.
 
Also, i’m confident that people will grow to like EQG for it’s own merits, much like ALicorn Twilight.

Most of those don’t matter later on.  
  1. Naruto is not to really win him over now.  
  2. Naruto does to now, and there are others as well.  
  3. Most don’t care anymore.  
  4. Not anymore.  
  5. Now he’s more a “you get in my way I kill you”.  
  6. See 2.  
  7. Other then just worrying about him at time no main characters obsess over him now.  
  8. Again see 2.  
  9. A lot of other character do too.  
  10. And once more see 2.

Cadence is poorly written. Sasuke is a Mary-sue.
 
And I say that because:  
  1. The hero will not stop until they’ve won that character over  
  2. has an overpowered ability or set of abilities that rewrites the rules to suit the user  
  3. is apparently overwhelmingly attractive, while actually appearing very plain  
  4. is always seen as a hero no matter all the horrible things he does  
  5. shuns any character that has even minor flaws (Sakura has her forehead, Ino likewise, and that girl he travels with is batshit)  
  6. is always considered the most powerful, even when it’s obvious that other characters are virtually gods in mortal form  
  7. has one or more main characters obsessing over them  
  8. apparently has had powers all along that are perfect for this exact situation  
  9. has a tragic backstory that’s perfect for angsting over, but nobody cares unless he starts talking about it  
  10. has an unrealistic amount of skill for someone of their age.

Well, for me there is a sue and then there is just a poorly written Character.
 
Something like Ebony Raven Way from My Immortal, THAT is a mary sue to me.
 
Something like say, Cadence or Sasuke Uchiha from Naruto, lean more toward poorly written. Especially something like Sasuke since he’s a walking Deus Ex MAchina at thimes.

I was thinking of Twilight, but I guess that could be considered sueish. Personally I hate the term cause there is no longer any real definition, it just means a character someone doesn’t like now.
 
Anyway, I’d say it depends on the writing, and I don’t watch Transformers so I can’t make the call on that.
