Lighting Beam was led into the lab where the alien Equine surgeons put her hooves in metal cuffs in the center of the room in the center of the room. With a metallic slam the cuffs closed with her hooves firmly inside yet they were comfortable.

The yellow unicorn tried to move her hooves, but it was no good they were stuck. There was equipment that she never seen before and looked high tech and alien to her.

Soon a red Earth Pony Surgeon wearing a gas mask came up to her and saw the scared look on her face.

Alien Earth Pony Surgeon (from her gas mask trying to calm her): Do not worry ma’am you’ll be released with your fellow specimens once we complete our tests. I promise no harm will come to you.

Lightning Beam: Ok… but, what kind of tests are you going to do?

Alien Earth Pony Surgeon (from her gas mask): A few internal examinations and surgical procedures, but don’t worry we’ll have you sedated for all of them.

Lightning Beam (nervous): Ok. But what am I doing in here?

Soon a orange unicorn stallion surgeon came over to her and the red alien earth pony. He was decked out in the same gear like she was and seemed very knowledgeable about Equestrian biology.

Alien Unicorn Stallion Surgeon 1: We’re just going to extract a bit of your magic energy from your horn.

Lightning Beam (shocked and scared): WHAT?! Your going to extract my magic from horn?!

Alien Unicorn Stallion Surgeon 1 (as blue alien unicorn stallion surgeon used his magic to attach a hose like apparatus connected to a machine behind her to her horn with a black colored suction cup): Yes. You see your world’s magic energy is different from the magical energy that we use, so we’re to extract some energy samples to determine how different your world is from our kind.

Alien Unicorn Stallion Surgeon 2 (looks at the alien orange stallion surgeon from the machine he was at): Dr.Nova Bright I’m ready to begin the energy extraction procedure.

Doctor Nova Bright (looks at the 2nd unicorn surgeon at the machine): Great Photon Flash I’ll tell you when to start up the machine. First we need to get our subject here on anesthetic before we begin.

Doctor Photon Flash (nods back at Nova Bright): Yes doctor.

Soon Nova Bright looks at Lightning Beam who was awaiting sedation, so they can begin the magic energy extraction procedure. He could tell she was nervous and scared and really wanted to help her with everyone else in the room, but they’re hooves were tied and thanks to their leader they couldn’t do anything against her. All they can do is make sure she was comfortable and safe.

Doctor Nova Bright: Alright… Lightning Beam is it? (Lightning Beam nodded her head) Ok Lightning listen to me (looks at the red earth pony surgeon turning on the anesthetic machine as hissing came from it as the valves were opened for them) Doctor Starfire Wing here is going to get you sedated, so we can start the procedure. I will tell you there will be some discomfort as we exact some of your magical energy from your horn, but the anesthetic will numb the pain.

Soon Starfire Wing came over to Lightning Beam holding black colored mask for her muzzle connected to the anesthetic machine a head harness was connected to the mask as well. It was time.

Doctor Starfire Wing: Ok Beam take deep breaths from the mask. It will help you relax.

Soon Starfire placed the mask on Lightning Beam’s muzzle as she began to take deep breaths from the anesthesia mask as Starfire Wing gentle stroke her head as wires were attached to the machine and began to her vital signs. At first the sedative gases and oxygen flowed into her lungs as she breathed deeply from her mask on her muzzle while Starfire strapped on the harness around her head and connected to the other side of the mask. Lightning Beam took deep breaths from the mask as she looked at her lifeline that would help numb her body and she started to feel her body get slightly numb from the gas. Nova Bright looked at Photon Flash and nodded as the blue unicorn surgeon started the machine b pushing into commands on the advanced keyboard.

There was a loud pumping sound from being Lighting as the magic pump began. Soon Lightning Beam’s horn glowed cyan as magical energy began to be pumped from her horn and into the machine. The black hose connected to apparatus and the machine bulged and pulsate with each load it extracted from her. It also felt very uncomfortable and her horn was like it was on fire literally.

Lightning Beam (muffled from the mask on her muzzle moaned): Mmmmmmm!!

Doctor Nova Bright: Lightning I know it’s uncomfortable for you, but you’ll be under soon. Just hang on for a bit longer.

Lightning Beam did so as the anesthetic gases began to get stronger and the discomfort began to go away just as a blue unicorn pony surgeon came into the lab.

Unicorn Pony Surgeon (asks Nova Bright): How’s she doing?

Doctor Nova Bright (looks at the new arrival): Oh Lightning here is doing ok we’re just started the energy extraction procedure and putting her under.

Unicorn Pony Surgeon (looks at Lightning Beam as she saw the uncomfortable and scared look on her face): Oh she looks so scared right now.

Doctor Nova Bright: I know Quazial. I really want her to get taken back home instead of being put through these horrific tests and everything. But our hooves are tied and all we can do right now is make sure they make through this ordeal.

Soon Lightning Beam began to feel dizzy and very sleepy. She tried to keep her eyes open, but it was no use as the anesthetic gases lured her off to a painless sleep as everything around her went black.
