Trixie and Derpy are the only 2 ponies I lax my feature voting preference for character variety for that reason.

2/3 of founders liked Derpy over Trixie. The site’s default theme (shades of blue and white) and the favicon were a compromise. Admittedly this is confusing, but the site at the time was just a proof of concept for booru software to be adopted by a different site, and not really meant to “go live”.
