I’ll be honest. I don’t see what everyone’s complaining about. The designs look fine to me. Dare I say I even see an echo of G4 in Izzy’s design.

oh well this took me by surprise as I hadn’t been looking at the G5 since the movie and obviously there’s always a bigger budget for a movie but if this was the art for the series it would be a huge drop in quality. but I’m glad it’s only for a series of shorts and the real series keeps the art of the movie, maybe a little lower but still within the established Thank you very much for clarifying this for me :3

It’s a side series that happens to be launching some months earlier than the main one. The main one is in 3D and will be on Netflix. While I’m not sure how exactly it’ll look like (anything revealed so far seems to be movie’s promo renders), given it’s probably not the same budget as the movie’s, it’s not Tell your tale. Specials will be in 3D too, so don’t worry. ‘Make your mark’ and ‘Winter wishday’ (3D series + special) is what you need, then :)
