That trait had *completely* disappeared by The Summer Sun Setback, to the point the log was (~~tragically in spite of the potential resurrecting her might have had~~) never seen or mentioned again, though, let alone the actual two-parter, and gloating about her plans mostly to herself seemed to be in the vein of her debut (as she did in song) afterwards. Her drive was validated by the joint effort having promise, she wasn'’t *isolating* herself anymore, and she had a concrete goal to work towards. She *never* impotently raved to herself after Frenemies, or, more specifically, after the first act of Frenemies.
So I don'’t really give "“she went mad"” much (if any) water in this context, beyond her letting power get to her head as usual.
