Description
Uploading a WIP of my latest car pinup I’ve been working on over the past month and a bit, so that my Derpibooru audience can see what I’m up to! I felt like making a new wallpaper to replace the Scootaloo F1 piece I made a year or so ago, and seeing how I’m mostly racing GT cars in racing games now rather than open wheelers, I decided to go for the 720S GT3 in Jenson Team Rocket’s white, black and green livery. And who else to pair with a black and green car other than Lightning Dust?
There’s an insane level of detail here already and I’m not quite done with the interior details yet, so if you like what you see so far feel free to check me out and stay tuned for the finished artwork!

A comment of such epic proportions that it took me 3 months to respond :O
I’m super interested in seeing the process there. The construction and guidelines, but especially the lighting - you know someone’s putting in some serious effort when they take the time to figure out the ambient occlusion of a piece!
But even as someone who couldn’t tell a Lotus Elise from a Lotus Exige, I love that you put such effort into the cars you draw. Cool cars are cool, even when you don’t know too much about em, and I think your dedication is awesome <3
But, your reply helped a lot <3
Sometimes. I may not bother with it if I’m just drawing a character on their own in a simple scene and I already know what I want (e.g >>3046240 or >>3068604) but for more complex scenes or car pinups, I typically use Clip Studio Paint’s built-in 3D models to help with composition and/or posing. An idea may not always look as good as it did in your head so being able to see a rough concept of it first is a massive help and saves you having a headache later trying to make it look closer to how you imagined it. If you want to know a bit more about my drawing process, feel free to carry on reading as I’ll explain it in a bit more detail.
and making her butt a tiny bit bigger because I felt like it and I know that’s where people are gonna look despite the massive effort I’ve put into the cargee if only there were a way for you to filter the images you see so you don’t have to see characters you dislike, perhaps by hovering your mouse over the tag containing the character’s name and clicking an option that tells the website to conceal any posts containing this character from your view. but as far as I know, there is no option on this website to do that particular thing, someone should really get on that I might even talk to staff about implementing this new revolutionary concept of a feature
