TWILIGHT: Spike. We were so worried about you. I was so worried about you. Why did you run away?
SPIKE: Because you said I’ve done enough damage. And you told me to get out and stay out. So, I did what any dragon would do. Run away from home, because someone got extremely mad at them, thinking they no longer love them. Like that time I thought Owlowiscious tried to replace me. After we ruined your hard work and you lashed out at us, I thought that was the end of our friendship. I’m just a silly clumsy dragon who messes up Christmas. You don’t need me anymore after what I did. You’ll need to get yourself a new No.1 assistant dragon. I’m no use to anyone.

TWILIGHT: Forget the decor, Spike. I owe you the biggest heartfelt apology ever. I should’ve been more mindful about my actions, instead of exploding at you. When you ran away, I was so scared I might never see you again. If there’s one thing I’d like for a Christmas present, it’s YOU, Spike.
SPIKE: What do you mean?
TWLIGHT: What I’m trying to say is…I’m…I’m really, really sorry for how I treated you. Both past and present. Can you ever find it in your heart to forgive me? If your answer is ‘no’, I understand.
SPIKE: (Sighed sadly) “I wasn’t going to forgive you at first, but after seeing how truly sorry you, Dorothy & Mickey are, I forgive you, Dorothy & Mickey too.”
