Um, no. A comedy harem may contains plenty of funny moments, but it still a harem story. It doesn’t have to parody any element of itself.
COMEDY harem, COMEDY, they are already parodies themselves.
I thought it was supposed to parody them instead of playing them straight.
since the beginning this fanfic was suppose to play all the possible harem comedies tropes and one of those is “the main guy must always fall in love first with the yamato nadeshiko”
It’s not really an extreme case, Rarity is handled pretty fairly, but the fact that her romantic interest is played for laughs and dismissed as something silly and shallow, while Dusk instantly falls in love with Fluttershy and idealizes her as a paragon of beauty, it doesn’t sit well with me.
How so? I haven’t kept up on any of this.
So she should be shy as fuck. Especially around a boy.
Generic love interest
It’s nothing solid. I’m just guessing for this comic.
I just don;t get why. I like her and everything but why her out of the rest? It just feels random. But oh well, i still want to see all this play out.
Also bear in mind that ALL ponies here haven’t had any of the character development that they’ve gotten as the series progressed.
To be fair, she’s the only one Dusk is genuinely interested in.
She’s just a generic love interest here.
Pretty sure discussion on the ages of the Mane Six been done to death dozens of times before. I’d rather not start it again.
