For all I know that is plausible, but… I feel like there may be a more direct link between what I said and your response than “Yo dawg, she SERIOUSLY underweight, and no ifs, ands or buts, cause she ain’t got NO butt. So yeah, that decoration might make a belt for her.” I am NOT trying to detract from what you said, just wondering if it has a deeper layer of meaning that I am missing. To put it another way, your statement is good, but I’m not sure why you did it as a response and therefore wonder if my lack of social intuition/insight is rearing its ugly head.
If she was human,
I think that She would probably be around 60 lbs.
She would have at least some stability if she gained the 20 recommended, and that would put her at around 80 lbs.
She would still have to gain 30 more after that to be considered a healthy weight.
The important part:
I… it took me a second to get what you meant*. I wonder if something like that would be a persuasive method to use on her in-world?
I know having the patient lay down on rolled out section of paper, then outlining them with a marker and having them look at the silhouette was used in a case I saw while flipping channels on TV or something. Gives a new perspective that is I would GUESS supposed to for that particular patient** generate juuust enough disconnect from “That is me” to let them realize at a deep level “That is too thin.”, but without so much psychological distance that it doesn’t get into so little “That is me.” that it doesn’t feel relevant at a deep enough level to be a lever that they can use to shift their thinking (or that the psychologist can use like that?)… I’m guessing here, but I’m often surprisingly good for how much I HAVEN’T per se learned. (Logic and creativity can get one far… sometimes just far enough in the wrong direction to lead to disastrous results if acted on without checking with someone who actually knows what they are doing.)
Edited because: "waist" not "waste"
