in all fairness, they could have done it much better, a much better scenario would have been for her to have met a poor child who had broken legs and could not walk, with no hope of recovery, she wanted to help the child as best she could, and to show that she truely cares about her subjects as much as she does her friends, could have given her wings to the child, it would have been kind, heartwarming, would have removed the whole “Twilight is now immortal and has to watch everyone she ever meets die.” issue, and showed actual character development, as apposed to, “Im perfect now.” and “PRINCESS MONEY!”
 
also, two things, 1, the show literally has, slavery, straight up murder, drug abuse like crazy, a couple of mental disorders, tons of politics, communism, blatant racism, several of the voice actors cameoed in south park of all things, abusive relationships, implied diabetes, implied sexual nudity, implied rape in multiple forms, native settler land disputes comparable to pilgrims against native americans, countless other adult themes, and a straight up fucking rick and morty cameo to top it off, the creators of the show know what they are doing, they center the show around adult themes constantly to keep their highest numbered audience of fully grown and probably incapable adult males entertained, the only thing kid friendly in the show is the designs, and only so they can sell a fuck load of toys.
 
and 2, the fact that your even on this site, makes you a hypocrite for saying that.

Because it SHOULDN’T have caused any issues. Because it was the natural progression of the series. BECAUSE PEOPLE TAKE A SHOW AIMED AT LITTLE GIRLS WAY TO F**KING SERIOUSLY!!!

I love how people just now finding out about alicorn twilight are still pissed about it, and people who have known about it are just disappointed and eventually just became depressed about it, it is pretty funny how they just pretty much defeated the whole point of the series in one single move, and didn’t think it would cause any issues.
