On one fine morning in late autumn, I send letters through the town. My closest friends and business partners receive them and join me at my manor for a soirée. We all head to the parlour, drinks and snacks are served and everyone has a jolly time with each others’ company.
The sun begins to set in a blanket of oranges and purples and everyone begins to calm down. A gentleman asks me to fill the void of excitement with some entertainment. Heading to my cabinet of delights, I pull out a fine flat square. Pulling the disk out, I head to my old record player, crafted decades ago of the finest materials by master artisans. The stylus alone is worth hundreds. I blow the dust off the disk, and place it gently on the turntable.
My crowd of guests compose themselves in preparation. The house is quiet for a few moments as the crackles grow and sputter.
Music begins to play from the speaker and as it swells, the words come:
C’mon Ponies! Show me what ya got!
Sorry, this comment gave me a really vivid mental image that made me laugh.
i don’t actually know anything about vinyls this doesn’t make sense.
