It is beautiful :) I always try to avoid the Mikato, for no other reason than it is always the easy choice. So it’s nice to learn more about the Beekshire. It is a machine to be proud of :)

The Pacific was the preeminent passenger engine in the early 1900’s. The noses were very similar. You say MacArthur, I say Mikato … Just Google it.

Specifically it is one for the Pere Marquette Railway.
No, a Pacific class. They were 2-6-4. My mistake - this is a class “N-1” 2-8-4 “Berkshire” type.
