With the cart’s wheels wrapped in chains believing the spiked surface gets traction on ice and snow when the OC believes there is spikes that slip on boots to also get traction on ice and snow.

Nah, that’s a real-world trick…it actually works well in snow. The drawback is that they slide around on any floor the chains can’t bite into. Personally I think rubber pull-on ice cleats are better.
What I find silly are the tire chains on a pulled wagon.
If the wheels aren’t providing drive why would they need more traction? All that’s doing is adding weight and rolling resistance.

Rarity should be using her telekinesis. Rusty chains can’t taste good. I don’t think wrapping chains around boots would help much in snow anyway. Would probably be uncomfortable to trot on.
