The start of Auburn Daze’s story, more parts will come later on, I don’t think I’‘ll start on the next part anytime soon so maybe expect some more screenshot edits or doodles of my ng cast (I’ll be calling it Cloudverse so if you see it in the title you’ll know its my ng)

Alright onto the story, it’s short and my first bit of writing in a while so it’s not great but I hope you enjoy

“Thank you so much Harmony, breakfast was delicious as always.” Twilight Sparkle put a comforting wing around her eldest daughter, expressing her thanks for the food, something she did every morning.

“Oh, it’s nothing really, no need to thank me so much. It’s just something I like to do for all of you, just as a way to say I love you, I guess.” Harmony finished off the last pancake in the pan, flipping it onto the stack of other pancakes that sat in the middle of the table.

Twilight’s horn lit up, her magic flowing around it and the stack of pancakes. Using her magic, she separated the stack for the others that sat at the table, her wife Sunset Shimmer and their two daughters, Starstruck and Vesper. Twilight walked up to her wife, giving a smile before sitting next to her.

“Well, I would still like to thank you, you make us food every day! Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even little meals in between. We can’t thank you enough for all the wonderful food you’ve made us.” Twilight smiled at her daughter, she loved that Harmony enjoyed doing this, even though there was no chance for a cutie mark she knew this is what she was meant for, this was her special talent.

“Mum’s right sis, you’re foods just that good! You could win contests with food like this!” The youngest of the family spoke up from the table, her mouth filled to the brim with the delectable pancakes her elder sister made.

Well thank you Vesper, I’m glad you like them. Star, how about you? I know you don’t usually like joining for breakfast that much, but I hope you’re enjoying the food.” Harmony spoke softly to her other sister, Starstruck, who seemed to be quietly enjoying her meal.

Star gave her sister a simple nod, her usual signal that she used to express her enjoyment of the meal in front of her. Harmony smiled in return, content with her family’s appreciation, yet something wasn’t right, something was missing here.

“Mother Twilight? Where’s Auburn Daze? Shouldn’t he be down here?” Harmony looked to Twilight, questioning where her little could be. Twilight’s mouth hung agape, yet she couldn’t give an answer, how did she not realise? Her son wasn’t here so where was he? Why wasn’t he here with the rest of them? Twilight pondered, there had to be a reason for him being absent from breakfast.

Though, with a search of his room and the castle it was clear he was gone, with his room a mess it seemed obvious he had left in a rush, it was unlike him to leave his room in such a way. Though it was even weirder for him to be gone in the first place, he never left his room unless it was for food or other important matters, so what had made him leave so early? There was nothing more important to him then whatever project he was working on in his room, so where was he?

Hopefully I’ll get better at this soon, I don’t think this is my best work but it’s been a while since I’ve done any writing, it’s been maybe over a year or so since I’ve done any sort of writing, but let’s hope it gets better from here - Cloudy
