Oh, okay, now I understand. Truth be told, I only figured out what it was when I decided to eliminate the ‘C’ altogether, as I had a feeling that letter came from the name of the aircraft manufacturer (in this case Cockatrice). The ‘319-100’ numbering is only used for the Airbus A319-100, which coincidentally also has the ‘A’ before the numbers to represent the name of the aircraft manufacturer.

I thought it was Comac because I saw the “C” letter before the series number at the aircraft
And when I look closely, it was C319-100, the Equestrian version of A319-100

Never heard of that aircraft manufacturer before, and after doing a bit of research, I know why: Comac is a Chinese manufacturer, and (from what I know) their aircraft aren’t used by too many airlines outside of China itself (and even China tends to use Boeing or Airbus aircraft for international flights to Europe and the US).
In terms of the design, though, I can see what you mean by your confusion. Though maybe that’s due to Comac copying a whole lot of elements from other narrow-body aircraft like both the Airbus A319 (shown above) and the Boeing 737-100.

So…you took an Airbus A319-100 narrowbody aircraft, and rename the ‘Airbus’ part of it to ‘Cockatrice’?
Honestly, I really like that. It’s a really good way to bring an established aircraft brand into the MLP universe.
